Dayabai Ragde owns a Chawl in her name and is very mean towards its tenants due her attitude her daughter Chayya has parted ways from her after she married nephew of her driver.Abhay is her only son who falls in love with Maya and plans to marry her.But Maya is already on bad books of Dayabai and rejects her.Abhay and his friend Bajirao plan his fake accident which makes Dyabai agree to their marriage.After their marriage Maya and Dayabai try their tricks on each other as both prefer to be one above the other.While Abhay feels lone after he sees love and affection in Bajirao's family which is missing in his house.
